Career assistance services: Domus Academy Career Service is designed as a tailor-made experience offering curricular internship placement services for 100% of the students and support for extracurricular internship, personal branding courses, individual meetings, job interviews with companies, curriculum vitae and portfolio reviews, dedicated events.
Since its foundation, Domus Academy has been a place where future designers experience an open and cross-disciplinary environment. The 11 one-year postgraduate master programmes enable students to work following a distinctive methodology based on learning by designing approach, participating in interdisciplinary workshops exploring and working side by side experienced professionals and leading companies.
Domus Academy relies on visionary teaching methodologies and tools to offer students an immersive and engaging experience. Each programme is workshop-based, supplemented with seminars, lectures and fieldwork. Industry professionals, programme leaders and project leaders guide students via individual coaching and mentorship. At the end of their academic path, students develop design research, create projects and explore conceptual ideas transformed into tangible outputs ranging from fashion collections and styling to product design, interactive scenarios, communication and business strategies.
Domus Academy programmes are accredited and internationally recognized. Upon graduation, students earn an Academic Master Degree (60 ECTS credits) accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) – in addition to the Domus Academy Master Diploma.
Over the years, Domus Academy has been awarded many prizes and recognitions. From 2012 to 2015, Domus Academy was selected by Frame and included in the Masterclass Frame Guide to the 30 World’s Leading Graduate Design, Architecture, Interior Design and Fashion Schools; from 2012 to 2017 the school was selected by Domus Magazine as one of Europe’s Top 100 Schools of Architecture and Design; in 2016 and 2017 Domus Academy was selected by Azure Magazine among the 8 Top Interior Design and Interaction Design Schools in the world and selected by Business of Fashion as one of the Top Global Fashion Schools.
